TINTING

The bleeding of ink pigment particles into the dampening solution, often resulting in a slight discoloration of the sheet. Tinting wipes-off the plate easily with a damp rag; if not, you are likely dealing with “toning” or “scumming”. Contact Graphic Ink for ideas on how to eliminate tinting.
