SPECTROPHOTOMETER

An instrument for analyzing color wavelengths. The spectrophotometer reads the intensity of electromagnetic radiation at different wavelengths to create a spectral “curve” that serves as a kind of “fingerprint” for that color. The spectrophotometer is recognized as the best color analysis tool. See also “nanometer”.
