RO WATER (Reverse Osmosis)

A water filtration process that forces water through a membrane that removes the dissolved solids in the water, allowing the pure water to pass. A typical conductivity reading for RO water would be 20 to 80 micromhos. RO water is preferred over tap water for mixing fountain solutions. See also “conductivity”, “micromhos” and “TDS”.
