SKIN PACKAGING

A packaging method that uses heat and vacuum to shrink-wrap a thin plastic film around a product and onto a rigid paperboard platform (usually a printed piece). A special paperboard stock and special inks are required for this process. Contact Graphic Ink for the appropriate inks. See also “blisterpack” and “clamshell”.
