RHEOLOGY

Having to do with the flow of matter, usually liquids, but also soft solids, or solids that flow rather than deform elastically. Broader in scope than viscosity, rheology also includes aspects of gel, plasticity, and thixotropy. Rheology involves complex data that cannot be expressed as a single value.
