PLUGGING

A problem that occurs when the spaces between type or half tone dots start to fill-in with ink where it is not desired. Plugging can advance to the point that spaces between dots or type fill-in completely to form a solid area. Plugging is usually an ink or fountain solution problem, but can also be plate related, or mechanical in nature. Contact Graphic Ink Company for trouble shooting assistance.
