PHOTOINITIATOR

Specialized compounds used in UV inks and coatings which undergo a photoreaction when exposed to ultraviolet light energy. The resulting photoreaction triggers the polymerization of oligomers and monomers, transforming the ink or coating from a liquid to a solid.
