MICROMHOS

A unit of measure for expressing the conductivity of a substance like water. The higher the micromhos, the more electrically conductive the substance is. Micromhos and conductivity are used to accurately dose fountain solutions with concentrate, since micromhos increase in direct proportion to concentrate added. See also “conductivity”.
